Anderson Cooper’s daytime talk show has been canceled. The current second season of “Anderson Live” will be the series’ last – but, new episodes will be produced through next summer. Anderson says he is very proud of the work that his terrific staff has put into launching and sustaining the show for two seasons. He says he looks forward to doing more great shows this season, and is sorry he won’t be continuing, but Anderson says he has truly enjoyed it.
“The Office” is ending it’s 9-season run next spring and there was a spinoff in the works… but, Rainn Wilson says it’s no longer happening. He confirmed on twitter that NBC has passed on moving forward with the show called “The Farm”, but he had a blast making the pilot. The show would have followed Rainn’s character “Dwight” and his adventures as a beet farmer trying to run a bed and breakfast inn with his wacky family.
Nadya Suleman – otherwise known as Octomom - has checked herself into rehab for a prescription drug problem. She admitted herself into the Chapman House Drug Rehabilitation Center here in Southern California after acknowledging she's become dependent on Xanax ... an anti-anxiety drug ... which she began taking to "deal with stress." Octomom says she wants to deal with her issues and make sure she is the best mother she can be. As for the kids, Nadya is using 3 nannies and 2 friends to split up the child care duties. She also has a driver to take the kids to and from school. TMZ says Nadya could afford to pay for treatment by herself because she's been making a ton of money from her “adult entertainment” career, but the rehab facility offered to pay for treatment anyway.
Avril Lavigne’s new fiancé - Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger – was not too happy with Avril’s ex husband’s Halloween costume. Avril’s ex, Deryck and his girlfriend decided to dress as Avril and Chad for Halloween. But, he was Avril and she dressed up as Chad. The outfits are pretty funny, but Chad was not amused and he responded on Twitter – using the Nickelback account. He tweeted, “Hey Deryck loved the costumes! we were going to dress up as you guys this year, but all the parties had celebrity themes haha!” Here is the photo Chad saw of Deryck and his girlfriend:
