You know it’s time for another season of Dancing With the Stars when rumors start about who will be joining the cast. But one person who will NOT be in the ballroom: Ann Romney. Dancing with the Stars approached Ann about being a contestant just after Mit Romney lost the election and she was "very interested." Ann was even in the audience at last season's finale and said she was a big fan of the show. TMZ says Ann and producers had several meetings to work out a few details, but Ann ultimately decided against it.

And it’s no surprise to anyone – but Lindsay Lohan has made another dumb mistake. So, The Santa Monica City Attorney -- who is prosecuting Lindsay for allegedly lying to cops after her June car crash -- was willing to keep Lindsay out of jail, if she agreed to check into "lockdown rehab" for 6 months. Well, Lindsay’s lawyer Shawn Holley –the woman who has kept Lindsay out of jail all of this time-- was on her way to court yesterday to meet with the prosecutor and the judge to complete the deal. But Shawn never made it to court, because Lindsay decided to fire her yesterday and hire a new lawyer. A man who was suspended in the '90s from practicing law for 5 years by the way. There's a hearing scheduled for 8:30 this morning – TMZ says Lindsay is scared and now wants Shawn back – so we will see which lawyer shows up to court later this morning.

Britney Spears’ ex fiance Jason Trawick had a little help with his break up with Britney. He went to her dad, Jamie Spears, first to discuss ending their engagement. Perez Hilton says they decided how the relationship needed to end and how to go about removing Jason from the conservatorship, when he would move out and how to announce the split. Jason and Jamie wanted to make sure that Britney didn’t go down in another downward spiral over it, so they had to be careful.

Ellen Degeneres has American Idol judge Nicki Minaj on her show later today – and of course brings up the feud that never dies between Mariah Carey. Nikki said she developed a defense mechanism – because she heard that Mariah didn’t like her. She said her feelings were hurt and she couldn’t believe it, so she kind of just compensated with being crazy. As far as Nicki and Mariah's relationship now, Nikki says she can’t hold a grudge and has gotten over it – but not sure if Mariah has and doesn’t care either way. But Nicki said she's not looking forward to the live shows because she can't trust herself. And if anyone on the judging panel says something “too crazy” towards her, she doesn’t want want to look like a crazy psycho again.
